So we decided it would be cool to buy one of those mandolin slicers, just because they make life a little easier when it comes to slicing stuff haha... So we brought it home and John was all excited and started slicing potatoes for dinner. I told him he wasn't allowed to use it without the holder, and he used it at first, but he sorta gave up when it came to the very last slice... it's pretty obvious what happened...haha. I sorta freaked out when I saw his finger, because I'd never really seen him get hurt like that before, but luckily he has good first aid skills, because I certainly wasn't any help (sorry about the gross picture).
This last week, my good friend Tiffany got engaged and I got to help! Her mom called me one morning and told me that Tiffy's boy Mike was planning on proposing that day and that he wanted to drive up to Logan and surprise her. She had no idea he was planning on coming, and it was really fun to see her so surprised! Congrats Tiffy! Love you tons!
One of my favorite things about John is that he still asks me to go on dates with him. He doesn't just assume that we're doing something on a Friday night, he'll actually ask me :) So for our last date we went to Firehouse Pizza for dinner, and we were too cheap to buy their yummy FH'zookies, so we made our own. We were too full to eat them that night, so we ate them for breakfast the next morning instead :)
In other news...We're both doing well! School is going good. I'm planning on taking a class or two this summer so that I can graduate in three years instead of four. We're having fun being sunbeam teachers, or at least I am (I won't speak for John on this one hehe). I'll try really hard to be better about posting :)
